Tyler's Backhoe offers logging and land clearning services.  Utlizing a modern John Deere "Cut To Length" logging system, trees are felled at the stump using a John Deere 703 Processor with a Wartah processing head. The same machine  delimbes and cuts to length (100") pulpwood, bolts, etc directly in the stump area. A John Deere 1010 Forwarder then picks up the logs and transports them to the landing where they are sorted, piled and ready for trucking.  The cut-to-length method can be utilized in many applications including; clear cutting, thinning, and individual tree selection logging. The cut to length system does not require large landings or leaves large slash piles, resulting in a cleaner finished product for the landowner. The method also allows for better sorting and storage of various wood varieties. Since the wood is carried off the ground the possibility of breakage and dirt contamination is much less than with the full tree methods. The cut-to-length method can be used in any species of woods and a variety of terrains and ground conditions.
